Description
The RIZER Ronin is a 5-ply all-wood blade built for players who value control, touch, and clean feedback, without giving up the ability to finish points.
With Limba outer plies and a 3-layer Ayous core, the Ronin delivers a balanced, medium-speed feel that shines in topspin rallies, controlled blocking, and precise placement. Limba provides a slightly softer, more forgiving contact—ideal for generating spin—while the Ayous core adds stability and consistency across the entire blade face.
The Ronin sits in the sweet spot: fast enough for confident attacks, yet controlled enough for balanced allround play. It’s an excellent choice for all-round offensive players, modern loopers, and intermediate players stepping up their game.

I like how the blade looks, and the blade feels like it will last a very long time. It terms of performance, the main thing I can say is it works really well for beginners or even advanced players if they are looking to feel the ball on their finger through the vibrations. The vibrations can really help any type of player improve their mechanics and techniques when playing. Also the sweet spot is pretty small and its obviously in the center of the blade. When I was looking for blades I totally thought that it wasn’t as important as the rubbers but I definitely take back that thought. I also thought that I wanted something not for beginners but I realized that a blade can benefit advanced players and beginners at the same time. This is a really good starting blade for any level of play, if your someone who is great at ping pong but want to improve I realized that these wooden 5 ply blades can work well for you. I regretted buying this blade a few times but then realized that I was wrong and I actually needed this blade before I transition into a permeant carbon or stiff type of blade. I really wish that Rizer had some video reviews because when you search them up on Youtube nothing shows up sadly. Definitely an underrated company! I don’t have that much experience with reviewing many types of products or blades but I do know a lot about ping pong through playing a lot and watching a ton.

I love this blade! I paired it with the Xiom Vega Europe rubbers on both sides in 2.0mm. It has a nice speed but still with high control. My loops stay on the table and I can swing with confidence! My coach said to stay with 5-ply wood at my level until I train for another year or so. It has moderate vibration and a solid feel. I definitely recommend it!
