Description

Collaboration of Japanese and Chinese technology has produced the Nittaku Hurricane Pro III Turbo Blue rubber!

The tacky/sticky topsheet made in China is combined with a dense hard, high-quality, high elasticity sponge made in Japan. Also includes Nittaku’s active charge (AC) technology which improves speed performance.

Compared to the Nittaku Hurricane Pro 3 Turbo Orange, this rubber has a harder sponge and gives extra power.

Due to the dark blue sponge, Turbo Blue is only available in black. Turbo Orange is available in both red and black.

The Nittaku Hurricane Pro 3 Turbo Blue uses the topsheet from the iconic DHS Hurricane 3 combined with a new type of Japanese sponge. The resulting combination has produced a version of Hurricane 3 with that familiar tacky topsheet that now has the excellent feel and sensation of a fast and elastic sponge. This rubber now has an increase in power, especially at longer distances, improving upon a fault in traditional Chinese rubbers that are unboosted. Compared to the orange sponge version, this blue sponge version is harder and faster. This rubber is produced by Nittaku, so the quality control that they are famous for ensures that you will get a quality sheet every time.

  1. Spin –

A very hard, tacky rubber that is extremely spinny. Best for players familiar with Chinese rubbers as much of the technique required to loop the ball involves brushing the ball to allow the tacky top-sheet grip the ball. This rubber is HEAVY and is great for those looking to add weight to their racket. I just bought another sheet (have used the first sheet for over a year) to go with my new Nittaku Acoustic Carbon. This rubber is definitely best used for the forehand, as it isn’t the fastest of rubbers and requires the power of the forehand to impart the speed and spin for a good power loop.
