Korbel SK7 is a 7-ply wooden blade with no carbon ,a bit on the heavy side for some players (mine is 98gr). Its weight however, is distributed in such a way that feels very balanced and manageable during play. Although Butterfly characterizes as “stiff”, actually it’s medium stiff that suits a variety of players even those that use often topspin forehand loops. One of its greatest advantages, is that it has no vibration at all. It offers amazing control in blocks, drives, even in backhand chops. It’s a really versatile blade, most suitable for all around to offensive players.

Arthur recommended that I use this blade with Rozenas as a mid-range player. I have used the paddle 5 times so far. I had been using a Stiga Pro Carbon Plus. This is by far a better tool. Spin and speed are noticeably higher. The paddle is definitely more forgiving due to the Rozenas. I can return spins and strikes with better precision. It was more difficult with the Stiga, which tells me a lot. This is truly a good training tool to sharpen your skills and move to a higher blade.
The best part of all this was Arthur. He took the time to talk to me and asked the right questions to know my level of play. After he listened for a long time (LOL), he made the recommendation, which shows a lot of respect on his part.
